I really should have gotten a case from the start. My iPad glass is scratched from floating around in my backpack and briefcase.

CHART OF THE DAY: The iPad Is A Bigger Hit Than The iPhone
The iPhone may have kicked off the smartphone revolution, but so far the iPad is selling much faster.
This chart shows unit sales of each products in the first six quarters after launch. The iPhone launched in June 2007, but didn’t really take off until the iPhone 3G launched in July 2008, five quarters later.
The iPad launched in January 2010, and has sold more units every quarter.

Coming soon to the app store: Typography Insight
I don’t have an iPad, and I don’t really wan’t one — or at least I didn’t up until about 15 minutes ago.
Designed by Dong Yoon Park, this beauty was made as a way to help students who are studying typography:

Students in introductory typography classes are asked to memorize and understand the form of historically important typefaces such as Garamond, Baskerville, Bodoni, Century and Helvetica. As a beginner, it is difficult to see the subtle differences. This is especially true in traditional media such as paper textbook, where the typeface in question is presented in linear, small sizes, virtually unable to be truly examined. This “flatness” makes it difficult to compare and  find important relationships among typefaces.

It includes help with terminology; and has the ability to compare and overlay famous types and a UI that is much more intuitive than certainly anything else on the market.
Gizmodo has a video of it in action here.
Additionally, his thesis, for which this app was created, is a beautifully typeset document, and is quite the read.

:-O
